At the Intermot Show 2012 in Cologne, Germany, Honda introduced the new CB1100 classic style. Despite the retro look, but Honda CB1100 will be strengthened with a four-cylinder 1.140cc water cooled. This machine is able to produce maximum power of 88.5 hp at 7,500 rpm with a torque of 93 Nm at 5,000 rpm rotation. It is relatively small when compared to the power generated by the Honda CB1000R, which reached 123 hp with a torque of 99 Nm.
However the latest variant of Honda CB1100 is claimed reasonably economical. This bike has an average fuel consumption of 4.7 lt/100 km. CB1100 has a fuel tank capacity of 17.7 liters, which makes this bike can travel a distance of about 365 km.
Front suspension used is 41mm preload-adjustable telescopic fork. As for the rear suspension using a preload-adjustable twin rear shocks from Showa. The new CB1100 is also equipped with a safety standard system, ABS brakes with four-piston calipers from Nissin for 2 front discs and single piston rear disc.
2013 Honda CB1100 will be available in 3 colors: Pearly White, Glory Red or Graphite Black. Previously, Honda CB1100 is only available in the Japanese and Australia market. Now CB1100 will be present in Europe in 2013.
